A DREAM FOR YOU

“By faith Abraham, when called to go to a place he would later receive as his inheritance, obeyed and went, even though he did not know where he was going.”

Hebrews 11:8

Let us start with an undeniable fact. We are all products of the vision that God had of us. He meticulously considered even the smallest details before making humankind and proceeded to develop His vision, not resting until He finished His divine work. This is what Paul referred to, when he said, “We are the workmanship of God” (Ephesians 2:10). Before God created us, giving us shape and form with His own hands, before He even tookthe dust from the ground to mold man, He had already designed us in His mind. “You are the fruit of the dream of God.”

Abraham, to whom God had promised a son, held onto His Word in such a way that at night he began to look at the stars and imagine that his descendants were as numerous as they. This act of faith made him grow stronger in the Lord, until the time of fulfillment came. When the images were recorded in his mind, his lips began to confess what his heart was already fully convinced of. Scientists have been able to prove that what a person can conceive in his mind, the central nervous system receives it as if it has already taken place. In other words, it is received as a reality.

The dreams of God generally come at moments when circumstances seem impossible to overcome. When Abraham didn’t even have a son, God took him outside one night, and said, “Look up into the sky and count the stars if you can. You will have so many descendants, that it will not be possible for you to count them.” Abraham believed the Lord, and the Lord credited it to him as righteousness because of his faith. Finally the time came, when God fulfilled His promise to Abraham.

God created mankind with the capacity to dream. He desired to extend His character through man. His wants for you to fully develop your spiritual potential. The best way to achieve this is to receive the dreams of God in your heart, and make the effort to see them become a reality in your life.

However, we need to know that every dream that comes from the Holy Spirit will always motivate us to protect ourselves, take care of our family and extend the Kingdom of Heaven. The only way to conquer the dreams of God is by receiving the revelation of the Spirit of the Lord in our lives. This is something that takes place when our spirit is connected and in harmony with the Spirit of the Living God. It is not by human effort, or by man’s power, but by the merging of our spirit with His divine presence.

SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT
Let us always consider that a vision given by God has different aspects: a healthy motivation, purity of heart, and it contributes to the social and spiritual well being of the community. It is characterized by a spirit of service and it is not contaminated by greed. It will ultimately produce praise and bring glory to the Lord.
