COMMITMENT DOESN’T WAVER FROM ITS CALL

And if it seems evil to you to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve […] But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.

Joshua 24:15 (NKJV)

God has given everyone a free will to choose. We can choose to serve the Lord or not. By the very act of your obedience or disobedience you have made the choice. In the scripture above, Joshua says, “But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” It’s more than a decision; it’s a commitment. Commitment doesn’t waver at its call. Whether things are good or things get tough, commitment is a stance that doesn’t look for a way out. Commit your life today, and serve Him with all your heart. The rewards are out of this world.
