Now that we know what we have—Jesus, this great High Priest with ready access to God—let’s not let it slip through our fingers. We don’t have a priest who is out of touch with our reality. He’s been through weakness and testing, experienced it all—all but the sin. So let’s walk right up to him and get what he is so ready to give. Take the mercy, accept the help.

Hebrews 4:14-16 (TMB)

In order to obtain results in prayer, you must realize that God wants to answer your prayers! In fact, He’s as ready and willing to answer your prayers as He was to answer Jesus’ prayers during His ministry on earth. This may be difficult to believe but it’s true. The problem is that many of us were taught to believe that we are “unworthy” of having our prayers answered; therefore, God was unwilling. It’s ignorance of God’s Word that keeps us from receiving His best in our lives. God invites us to come to Him so we can obtain!
