GOD WILL ALWAYS TAKE CARE OF ME

“In Your unfailing love you will lead the people you have redeemed. In your strength you will guide them to your holy dwelling. You will bring them in and plant them on the mountain of your inheritance – the place, O Lord, you made for your dwelling. The sanctuary, O Lord, your hands established.”

Exodus 15:13-17

God had performed supernatural wonders because of His love for the people of Israel. He broke the pride of the most powerful nation in the world for them. He never forgot them nor the covenant He had made with their ancestors. In His mercy, he redeemed them, breaking the yoke of slavery that they had endured for many centuries; He took them in His arms and did not rest until they had been introduced to their dwelling place. We should understand that everything that took place in antiquity was a picture for us now.

The mercy of Jesus has come and redeemed us with the power of His blood. Just as the people of Israel entered the Promised Land by means of faith, in Jesus we can enter a land of divine promises. It is in this land that each one of the promises of God given to His servants becomes life for us today.

The Apostle Peter said, by us associating ourselves with the promises of God we become participants of His divine nature (2 Peter 1:4). Saint Paul said: “Now if we are children, then we are heirs – heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory. I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us” (Romans 8:17-18). We learn that by faith in Jesus we are heirs of God. Paul could have said, “Possibly you may inherit…”, but no! He declares it as a fact. We can participate in the same inheritance as our Lord Jesus. The Apostle calls us to persevere until the end. Further on in the scriptures he says, “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him who have been called according to His purpose” (Romans 8:28). Regardless of the struggles and obstacles that we must face, we should maintain total trust in God, knowing that He is on our side and will take us to a safe place.

SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT
When talking about the feat the Israelites had accomplished by crossing the Red Sea, Derek Prince commented, “The amazing or miraculous is not that they crossed the Red Sea but that approximately three million people were fed throughout 40 years in a dry and non-producing dessert.” A theologian once said, “In order for them to cross the Red Sea in one night they would have needed at least 3.1 miles in width of space which would allow five thousand people to pass; if the line was doubled then the length would have been 7 miles. Every night they would have need 296,525 acres to camp. The necessary food needed to consume would have summed up to 1,500 tons daily but the adequate amount would have been 4,000 tons. It would have taken two cargo trains of 1 mile in length at a cost of ten million dollars a day to transport this food. One million gallons of water daily would have been necessary to have something to drink and a cargo train 1,790 miles long.” Saint Paul said, “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who loved him” (1 Corinthians 2:9).
