DESCRIPTION:Water Baptism is an important step for every Christian to take! The Bible teaches us that a person can only receive salvation by placing their faith in Jesus Christ. It’s only through His death\, burial\, and resurrection that a person can be saved. It’s after you have received Christ into your heart as your Savior that you’re ready to be baptized. Baptism is making a public proclamation you’re a Christian\, and is a way of identifying yourself as a follower of Christ. \nOur next Water Baptism will be taking place on Saturday\, December 14\, 2019. If you would like to be baptized\, just show up at any of the below locations. There is no cost to being baptized. DESCRIPTION:“The hand of the Lord came upon me and brought me out in the Spirit of the Lord\, and set me down in the midst of the valley; and it was full of bones. Then He caused me to pass by them all around\, and behold\, there were very many in the open valley; and indeed they were very dry. And He said to me\, ‘Son of man\, can these bones live?’ So I answered\, ‘O Lord God\, You know.’ Again He said to me\, ‘Prophesy to these bones\, and say to them\, ‘O dry bones\, hear the word of the Lord! Thus says the Lord God to these bones: ‘Surely I will cause breath to enter into you\, and you shall live. I will put sinews on you and bring flesh upon you\, cover you with skin and put breath in you; and you shall live. Then you shall know that I am the Lord.'” (Ezekiel 37:1-6) \nPrayer Week is a time for our church to gather together for evening prayer. We believe that prayer is vital to loving our city back to life. There is something very powerful that happens when God’s people unite in prayer and intercession. How do I register?   \nThe registration fee to attend the Encounter Weekend is $60.00 per person.  Registration is only available online.  \nWhat do I need to bring?  \nWe encourage everyone to bring a Bible and something to take notes with.  Snacks are provided throughout the weekend.     \nWhat is the schedule?   \nFriday:  Check-in opens at 6:30pm. DESCRIPTION:G12 HAWAII 2019:  Leadership Training \nWe are excited to offer a special day of leadership training that will be taking place before opening night of the G12 Hawaii Conference 2019!   \nREGISTRATION \nRegistration is $10 per person for Word of Life Hawaii leaders\, and $20 per person for all other churches.  Registration will provide you with access to all of the leadership training sessions taking place on Friday.  Seating is on a first come\, first served basis. \n \nLEADERSHIP TRAINING SPEAKERS \n\nPastor Cesar Castellanos (International Charismatic Mission in Bogota\, Colombia\, and the founder of the G12 Vision)\nBishop Oriel Ballano (Doulos for Christ in Manila\, Philippines)\nPastor Bert Pretorius (3C Ministries in Centurion\, South Africa)\nAnd Conference Hosts\, Pastors Art & Kuna Sepulveda (Word of Life in Honolulu\, Hawaii)\n\nDATE & TIME \n\nFriday\, August 9th ONLY\nCheck-In Starts at 8am; Training Sessions Start at 9am.  The event will end around 2pm.\n\nLOCATION \nOur Friday Leadership Training sessions will be held at Word of Life’s main campus in downtown Honolulu\, located at 544 Queen Street\, Honolulu\, Hawaii 96813. \nPARKING \nPaid parking is available at the Neal S. Blasidell Arena for $8.00. Word of Life shuttles will be available to transport you to and from The Blaisdell Arena Parking Lot and Word of Life. \nAdditional paid parking lots are available; however\, shuttle transportation is only available from the Neal S. Blaisdell Arena.  For a list of other parking locations click here. \nKIDZ LIFE \nKidz Life\, our Children’s Ministry for infants and preschoolers (ages newborn – 6 years old)\, will be available during the Leadership Training. There is a $5 registration fee per child.  Please note that Kidz Life Elementary will not be available for this event.

And He said to me\, ‘Son of man\, can these bones live?’ So I answered\, ‘O Lord God\, You know.’ Again He said to me\, ‘Prophesy to these bones\, and say to them\, ‘O dry bones\, hear the word of the Lord! Thus says the Lord God to these bones: ‘Surely I will cause breath to enter into you\, and you shall live. I will put sinews on you and bring flesh upon you\, cover you with skin and put breath in you; and you shall live. Then you shall know that I am the Lord.'” (Ezekiel 37:1-6) \nPrayer Week is a time for our church to gather together for evening prayer. We believe that prayer is vital to loving our city back to life. There is something very powerful that happens when God’s people unite in prayer and intercession.
