MEMORY VERSE
“I hereby make this covenant—this HOLY bond—between Me and you and all of your children and their children’s children throughout the coming generations. It will be an eternal covenant. I will be your God and the God to all who come after you!” (Genesis 17:7, The Voice)

Hey Kids! This week, on Kidz Life Hawaii Live, we learned about great heroes of faith that changed History. If you missed it, you can watch it here. The greatest hero of them all is Jesus! If it were not for Jesus, we would be forever separated from God. Ughhh!!!!…that’s gotta hurt, separated FOREVERRRRRR! But, because of God’s love for you and Jesus’ obedience to His Father, we have a way to be together forever with God. Yesssss! Foreverrrrrr!!! Which means for eternity!

When Jesus died on the Cross, He took my place and your place for all the bad things we did, which is called sin. Sin separates us from God. But Jesus made a way so that all we need to do is admit that we have sinned and ask God to forgive us. Then we need to ask Jesus to be the Lord and Savior of our lives. And He definitely will because He made that promise to us. God always keeps His promises.

And even better than that, He promises to not only be my God and your God, but the God of your children and your children’s children foreverrrrrr. God is so COOL! He thinks of everyone! Let’s be heroes of faith who are History Makers! Do you want to have God on your side and your children’s side and your children’s children side? It starts with you saying this prayer to God…

God, today I choose You to be in my life forever and my children’s life, and my children’s children’s lives foreverrrrr. I know that I have sinned, and I ask that you forgive me. Come into my life and be my Lord and Savior. I am now born again, and nothing can separate me from You. I pray in the Name of Jesus. Amen! So be it!!!

Remember, whatever you decide to do today will effect generations to come!!!
