GOD HAS THE BEST FOR ME

“You have made known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand.”

Psalm 16:11

Dr. Cho comments that when he was beginning his ministry, he went through a myriad of financial needs. He had many debts but his mother-in-law became a support for him. One day, while he felt he had so many shortages, he and his wife saw a light of hope to make it out of their financial difficulties. It was through a lottery ticket. They bought it and began praying to the Lord saying, “God make us win this lottery, you are going to bless us through this lottery ticket. I know this is what will make us come out ahead financially.” The day came to play and they did not win. Through this they learned that the blessing of God does not come through a lottery ticket, or gambling. The blessing manifests itself when we put all our trust in Him. In the middle of great distress, living with little hope, and while Dr. Cho was traveling on a bus he saw a great big two-story building. He said to the Lord, “Do you think I can get a building like this?” He answered, “Amen.” So, Dr. Cho believed this promise. God not only gave him this building but much more. The last building he constructed was worth three hundred million dollars!

Did you know that you have a great inheritance? Your great inheritance is your family, your spouse, your children, your loved ones, and your church. When you begin to bless and take care of what God has given you, His miracles are manifested. If you are married, bless your spouse; do not mistreat him or her. Husband, don’t abuse your wife verbally; treat her like a porcelain doll. See everything that happens as a blessing. Team up with your spouse; write the challenges that lie ahead and pray to the Lord together by stating that you will conquer all that is proposed in the name of Jesus. If you are single, ask God to meet the right person. Until then, team-up with the Holy Spirit, joining together with Him to see great victories.

SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT
Once, in the country of Spain, a farmer decided to take his son to the local University. At the interview with the Dean he put an envelope with money on the desk and said, “Mr. Director, I have brought my son so you can educate him, but I ask that you do not keep him very long because I need him to work in the fields.”

The Dean, a very prudent man and wise with his words, looked at him with sympathy and replied, “Sir, here we are able to prepare your son for whatever you want. If you want your son to have the capacity of a pumpkin, then in a couple of months he can return. But if you want him to gain the full advantege and be like a tall treetop he should stay in the University for several years. It all depends on what you want your son to be.” The farmer understood what the Dean was trying to say. He took out another envelope with more money and he gave it to him saying, “Make my son into a treetop. I want him to be something big in life.” (Author Unknown)
