THE WORD OF GOD IS FULL OF POWER

04_21

“The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing. The words I have spoken to you–they are full of the Spirit and life.”

John 6:63

There is so much power in the Word of God that when it is declared in faith, it transforms adverse circumstances into blessings. Jesus said that for the Lord it is not difficult to heal the sick, bring freedom to the captives and provide for the needs of His children. This is His nature and He does all these things by His Word. The Lord revealed to us that if we believe in Him, we will do even greater things than He.

You must believe that God’s Word moves the angelic realm. When you bind or loose something on earth, it is immediately bound or loosed in the spiritual world. When you speak, heaven begins to work because there is power in the words you declare. For that reason, every word that comes out of your mouth should be a word of life. What you speak out should edify, motivate, and bring comfort. Never pronounce words that destroy, discourage or bring affliction. Your mouth becomes the mouthpiece of Jesus and your words have to reflect this, always bringing encouragement to your family members and disciples. We should move in the same dimension of faith that Jesus moved in. Everything that Jesus did on this earth was passed on to His disciples. This happened in such a way that they had the same privilege of doing all the amazing things they saw their Master doing, in His name. “Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father” (John 14:12).

If true life is in the Spirit and not in the flesh, why do we invest most of our time by worrying and being obsessed with the things associated with our human nature? We should be motivated by a desire to walk in the Spirit to want more contact with the Word of God, and have a deeper relationship with the Holy Spirit. All these things help us to understand that He comes and humbly makes His home in our lives. As a result of this, rivers of living water will flow from within us (John 7:37-39).

SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT
When I began in the ministry, I had a great desire in my heart to reproduce life in people. I understood that if I could reproduce the doctrine of Christ in people who were being discipled and if they had clear principles to live by, then through these principles, they too would become transmitters of life. At the time we received the revelation of the G12 Vision, we began to pray specifically for the salvation of twelve people, in order to incorporate them into our team and disciple them. A team of twelve is like the first generation of this multiplying process. The 144 are the second generation, the 1,728 are the third generation, and so on. When we can faithfully carry out this Vision, we are even able to influence entire nations. Be sure to transmit to your disciples the Word that is filled with power, which is Spirit, and which is Life.
