MEMORY VERSE
“The Lord kept His Word and did for Sarah exactly what He had promised.” (Genesis 21:1 NLT)
Hey Kids! Do you remember what God promised Sarah? He promised her that she would be a princess of nations and that kings would come from her children even though she could not have children and her husband, Abraham, was too old to have kids since he was 100 years old!!!
They both are superheroes and you know that every superhero has superpowers. Can you guess what their superpowers were? YES, FAITH IN GOD! When they heard the promise from God, they believed it in their heart and their superpower called FAITH was activated inside of them! It’s like the Incredibles’ kids. Their superpowers had to be activated.
You have superpowers too! Yeah, that’s right!!! You are God’s superhero and He gave you superpowers! When YOU hear God’s Word and YOU believe it, FAITH IS ACTIVATED IN YOUR HEART!!! And when that happens you have a superpower! Your superpower FAITH has the power to give YOU supersonic eyesight to see God’s promise for YOU before it ever happens!
Wow, isn’t that amazing! Did you know that your superpowers can grow stronger!!! Yeah, it grows stronger when you keep speaking out loud God’s Word! The more and more you speak His Word your superpower called FAITH will grow strong like Aquaman or Wonder Woman!!! Yowza, that’s a lot of power!
And guess what? You have another superpower inside of you! It’s the superpower to not give up and quit called PERSEVERE! No matter how long it takes to receive your promise you must NOT QUIT! God gave you have the power inside you to not give up. All you have to do is to activate this superpower by deciding to not quit and asking God to help you.
Do you know how long it took Sarah and Abraham to receive God’s promise for their life? 25 years!!! Yikes that seems long, right?! But they were superheroes with the superpower to PERSEVERE just like YOU! And because they activated their superpower to PERSEVERE the Bible said that The LORD kept His Word and did for Sarah exactly what He had promised. She became pregnant, and she gave birth to a son for Abraham in his old age. This happened at just the time God had said it would. And Abraham named their son Isaac.
WOW!!!! Sooo Cool! God always keeps His promises to you and me! Come on kids, what are you waiting for let’s GO and ACTIVATE your God-given superpowers to receive all He has promised you! God is working on the inside of you.

Genesis 21:1-7 (NLT)
The LORD kept His Word and did for Sarah exactly what He had promised. She became pregnant, and she gave birth to a son for Abraham in his old age. This happened at just the time God had said it would. And Abraham named their son Isaac. Eight days after Isaac was born, Abraham circumcised him as God had commanded. Abraham was 100 years old when Isaac was born.
And Sarah declared, “God has brought me laughter. All who hear about this will laugh with me. Who would have said to Abraham that Sarah would nurse a baby? Yet I have given Abraham a son in his old age!”
