Today’s Bible Verse

Fearless Faith Never Quits
Psalm 27 is David’s poetic praise to God before he was anointed king. At the very end of the psalm, David shared a powerful truth. Some may think it’s just a close to the psalm or the end of the story, but it really is wisdom on how to receive all the promises and dreams that God has given us through His Word. It says that David learned that God’s promises come to pass if…we don’t give up, stay in relationship with God (His Word), be brave and courageous, and never lose hope.
Something to Think About
One of the women on my team of disciples shared this testimony with me, which I believe expresses perfectly what David shared with us in Psalm 27:14. This is Eileen, and her husband, Nathan’s, testimony:
“Before we knew Christ, my husband and I had been wanting a child for over five years, but for some unknown reason, we were not able to have a child. It was painful and confusing, especially as we saw other friends and family having children of their own. Then we moved to Hawaii and some friends of ours introduced us to Word of Life and more importantly to Jesus. Our desire transitioned into learning how to believe in God’s promises and the pain transitioned to hope. God gave both of us several verses to stand on for a child, especially Esther 4:14-15 (AMPC).”
“Just over two years later, with much patient encouragement from our leaders, we decided to go back to the doctor to find out the medical answer to why we hadn’t had a child. The doctor told us that, according to the tests, we had very little chance to having a child of our own and promptly told us that we should come back in two weeks to undergo multiple treatments to increase our chances. With the support of our Life Group leaders and through prayer, we decided to stand on God’s promises. When the two weeks were up, instead of going to the doctor for treatment, we discovered that we were pregnant without any medical intervention! Later that year, our beautiful daughter, Esther, was born. We know that she is a miracle from God.” (Deneen Quartero)
Today’s Declaration
I’m brave and courageous. I’m patient and full of faith in God’s Word. God’s dream for my life will come to pass because I dare to take God at His Word and I will never quit.
