The Father’s Love
Hey Kids!
Did you know that God thinks about you all the time? Yeah, He just can’t get you out of His mind! And guess what, all of His thoughts of you are good! Even when you make a mistake or you really mess up and sin, His thoughts are still good towards you.
You might think, “How can He think good of me if I haven’t done good things all the time, or thought good things, or said good things?” It’s because He is your Heavenly Father who loves you more than you can ever understand. If you made a mountain with all the chocolate candy in the world, can you imagine how high that would be? His love for you is higher than that! And if you could dive into all that chocolate, how deep would that be? His love for you is deeper than that!!
He knows everything there is to know about you! He sees all that you do, the good and the bad and he still loves you! He even knows what we are thinking every second of the day! And He still holds you close to His heart and calls you His precious and beautiful child. His love for you never stops!
Did you know that He formed every bone in your body and shaped you inside and out with His own hands? He created you in the secret place where it was just you and Him? He carefully and skillfully shaped you from nothing to something! He saw who you would be before you were created to become YOU. And when he was done, He said you were GOOD! WOW, God’s loving hands were on you before you were born!
You are His prized and valuable masterpiece, His cherished work of art! You were created from the Heart of God. Do you remember in the movie Toy Story his owner, Andy wrote his name under Woody’s right shoe so that everyone would know that Woody belonged to him? Well, God wrote His name in your heart because you belong to God. You were designed to look like and be like your Heavenly Father! You are like the sunshine in the day and a brilliant star at night.
He loved you so much that He sent His Son, Jesus, to give His life for you so that you will have life. So, see how valuable and precious you are? Start seeing yourself the way that God sees you, not what other people see or say about you. What God says about you is who God created you to be.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for Your intense love for me. Help me every day to know the love You have for me and to see myself as Your beautiful masterpiece, so that I can do what You have created me to do. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
