“But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His wonderful light.”

1 Peter 2:9

One night, while at dinner with my wife and Matias, I began to notice something unusual. Matias, by now six months old, began behaving restlessly in the restaurant. Although all children do this, what we were seeing was something out of the ordinary. He was acting like we had never seen him before. As I looked at my wife, we knew something was happening to him. The next day, while I was praying, I asked the Lord, “Father, help me. Teach me to pray for Matias.” In that moment the Lord spoke to my spirit and said, “Apply the DNA of Jesus over the DNA of Matias.” What He said to me was completely new. I had never heard any preacher teach on DNA and much less anything about applying it. Yet, when the Lord led me in what to do, my mind was opened and I understood what He was trying to teach me. “From one man he made every nation of men, that they should inhabit the whole earth…” (Acts 17:26). So, when the Apostle Paul said that from one man, or blood, God has made every human lineage on the earth, it is because our DNA, that is our genetic code, has a source: Adam. We have all come from this lineage.

“We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way; and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all. He was oppressed and afflicted, yet he did not open his mouth; he was led like a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is silent, so he did not open his mouth” (Isaiah 53:6-7).

By His death and His resurrection, Jesus became the second man with a new genetic code. When the Lord brought this revelation to me, I immediately started to pray for my son, saying, “Lord Jesus, I apply your DNA over Matias’DNA and I declare that your DNA absorbs, cancels and replaces his DNA”. I was praying early in the morning, and during the rest of the day my wife and I witnessed how our baby was happier than before. He spent the entire day laughing and happily playing. Straight away, we could see a difference in his face. We can say that since that day Matias has new DNA.

SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT
During the last supper, Jesus “…took the cup, saying, ‘This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you’” (Luke 22:20). By declaring this Word, He was taking what the prophet had said and acknowledging that this was the new covenant. The new covenant is in the blood, and that is why it says, “I will put my law in their minds and write it on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people” (Jeremiah 31:33). By the blood of Jesus, through the exchange of DNA, we can relate to God.
