There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.

Now that we have become Christians, the guilt and shame of the past has no weight on us. The precious blood of Jesus has erased our past sins. Our conscience has been made clear. God has set us free! Let’s live our lives according to the Spirit, so we can stay free of condemnation, and give no place to the accuser (the devil) who wants to keep us down. Keep your heart pure before God, and all those who try to bring up your past won’t have any power because of your transformed life!
