Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near.

Philippians 4:5 (NIV)

As Christians we need to be gentle in our treatment of others. I understand that others may not warrant your gentleness, but it’s in your God-given nature to be gentle to others. Gentleness is not weakness or a sign of insecurity. Actually it shows great inner strength and confidence in your God. Anyone who is insecure has a difficult time being gentle to all. But those who know their God, know how Jesus was gentle, even to the one who betrayed Him.
