Building Your Faith
Do you know that faith the size of a mustard seed can move a mountain? (Matthew 17:20). You might say “That’s impossible!” But the God we serve says with Him, “All things are possible” (Matthew 19:26). He also says, “Fear not only believe” (Mark 5:36 RSV). That’s Faith!
We have an enemy who does not want us to know who we are in Christ. He does not want us to believe. He will do all he can to steal the word lest we believe and be saved (Luke 8:12). He is a thief, and he comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came to give us life and life more abundantly (John 10:10).
The abundant life is the life that Pastor Art has been talking to us about—living freely and enjoying the miraculous life that God intended for us to live. The incorruptible seed (the Word of God) that has been planted in us when we said, “Jesus come into my heart,” will help us develop our faith. God does not want us to fear the enemy.
Do not yield to fear, for I am near. Never turn your gaze from me, for I am your faithful God. I will infuse you with my strength and help you in every situation. I will hold you firmly with my victorious right hand (Isaiah 41:10 TPT).
I’ve heard it said, if we live like the world, we will be overcome by the world. Are there circumstances, situations, or challenges in your life that worry you? Do you feel like you don’t know what to do? Do you feel burdened and pressured? I want to share with you that this is NOT God. Remember, God wants you to live an abundant life. His word says to take courage; he has OVERCOME the world (John 16:33 ESV). Whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcomes the world, OUR FAITH (1 John 5:4).
You see, every child of God overcomes the world, for OUR FAITH is the victorious power that triumphs over the world (1 John 5:4 TPT). The enemy is trying to complicate things in our lives by causing us to fear. The Word of God says that Our Faith Overcomes the world. (Malcolm Quartero)
Seize the Moment
Be encouraged by knowing there is hope when we build our faith with the Word of God. Do not let satan lie to you or deceive you into thinking that you can’t do this.

Set Your Life
Here are some things to implement in your life to develop your faith.
- Be planted in church (Psalm 92:13)
- Attend Life Group (Acts 2:46-47)
- Do daily devotions (Matthew 6:33, Joshua 1:8)
- Attend class/training to help you grow your faith (Romans 10:17)
- Focus (Keep your eyes fixed) on God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit (2 Corinthians 5:7)

Today, I choose to embrace the lifestyle of a believer by walking by faith and not by sight.
