Dare to Believe
Mark 5:25-34, talks about a woman who was dealing with a sickness that affected her life for 12 years! All that time, she tried to find healing on her own. She did everything that the world teaches you to do. If you’re sick, you go to a doctor, and they’ll give you medicine. If that doesn’t work, you go to a specialist and try new treatments, etc. She did everything; she spent every penny she had until she had nothing left financially, emotionally, physically, and spiritually. Over that period, instead of getting better, she kept getting worse (Mark 5:26 TPT).
Isn’t it funny that we can be like that in our lives? We try to fix our own problems and do everything the world tells us to do: DIY’s, life hacks, whatever quick tricks people try to recommend. Instead of ever fixing the problem, we just bury it under other things and ultimately we get worse and worse. Some try to mask their problems and some start to wear their problems as their identity.
This woman, already trying everything in the natural, knew if she wanted to see a change, she had to do something different. So, she went into that crowd with the expectation of a miracle, not with an expectation that someone was going to bless her with money so she could go to more doctors. She went with the expectation to be healed! And, that is what she got because she dared to believe! She dared to have faith! She dared to step out of her “comfort zone” and stepped into faith!
This woman never had a name that was ever referenced; she was known as “the woman with the issue of blood.” Her identity was in her sickness, in her faults, in her brokenness, in her weakness. But in one moment, all of that changed! She didn’t just receive physical healing; she received a new identity! Her name was changed to DAUGHTER! Her name was changed to, “THE ONE WHO DARED TO BELIEVE”! (Natalie Wela)
My Life of Faith
God wants to change your identity! God wants to heal your life! God wants to give you freedom! Pastor Emma Claudia Castellanos says, “IF GOD SAID IT, AND I BELIEVE IT; HE WILL DO IT!” To see the miracle, to see the breakthrough, to see the promise come to pass, we need to believe! Dare to believe in our God! Dare to believe in our healer! Dare to believe in our provider! Dare to believe in our Way Maker! Dare to believe in God who makes a way when there seems to be none! Dare to believe He will do it!

Today’s Declaration
I dare to believe that you are My God! You are my Healer, my Provider, my Way Maker, my faithful God! I choose to always step out in faith and place my confidence and trust in You! I will not let obstacles hold me back from the breakthroughs You have for me! I receive my new identity as Your daughter / son and as your faith-filled influencer.
