Today’s Bible Verse
When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child, but when I became a man, I put away childish things. For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know just I also am known. And now abide faith, hope, love these three; but the greatest of these is love.
1 Corinthians 13:13 (NKJV)
Don’t Let the Enemy Sabotage Your Dream
This Scripture speaks to us about coming to a place of spiritual maturity. Then it mentions three powerful keys that enables us to conquer life’s greatest adversities. Through faith we can move mountains! The God kind of hope will never disappoint. It produces expectation in our hearts of the desired outcome. Then there is love. It is the most powerful of the three. The Bible tells us that love never fails because God is love.
We are an unstoppable force in Christ Jesus and we pose a great threat to the kingdom of darkness. So the enemy attempts to sabotage our destiny and tries to undermine our breakthrough. He will try to attack you with offense. It is for this reason that many have left the church. They suffer deep emotional hurt and don’t know how to overcome it. Some think that time will heal but all it really does is nurture the hurt causing it to develop roots in the heart. Only the truth of God’s Word and the healing touch of Jesus can set them free from a wounded spirit.
The enemy will also attempt to get you to a place of unbelief. The children of Israel could not get out of the wilderness for forty years because of unbelief. They were at the border of their breakthrough but yet could not cross over because they had an unbelieving heart (Hebrews 3:19). Another thing that we have to guard against is double mindedness. The Word teaches us that a person in this state is unstable and will not receive anything from the Lord (James 1:5-7). The devil wants to sabotage your dream and rob you of your breakthrough. But God has equipped you to be victorious in every battle! (Pastor Wally Matanza, Word of Life Yokohama)
An Uncommon Life
Set your heart to do these three things:
1. Be Single Minded (Romans 4:20-21)
2. Have Faith in God (Mark 11:22-24)
3. Choose to Walk in Love (1 John 4:20-21 TPT)
Always seek the Lord regarding any major decisions that you need to make and ask for a rhema word. It is a specific word for a specific situation for a specific time. Incubate that in your heart and allow it to take root. No matter what challenges come your way, be single minded about God’s promise and don’t doubt. Have faith in God that He will never leave you nor forsake you. God always has your next breakthrough miracle lined up. All you need to do is stay in faith and watch what God will do!
The most important thing to guard and protect is your love walk. Anytime you have an opportunity to be offended because of betrayal, rejection, abandonment or any form of emotional hurt…choose to walk in love. It is the one thing that will never fail you in your time of greatest need. Faith will not work without love that is why the enemy wants you to be offended. Always remember that faith works by love.
Understand that when deep emotional hurt comes you are not wrestling against flesh and blood. The person that hurt you is not your enemy. You are under spiritual attack. Apply the Blood of Jesus over your heart and mind and choose to forgive. Forgiveness is not a feeling. It is a decision we make by faith. Trust God with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. Don’t let the enemy sabotage your dream and rob you of your breakthrough. You can do all things through Christ Jesus Who strengthens you.

Father, I thank You that no weapon formed against me shall prosper. I am more than a conqueror in Christ Jesus. I guard my heart against double mindedness. I choose to be single minded regarding Your promises. I guard against unbelief. I nurture my faith daily through the hearing of Your Word. I cast down every thought of doubt and unbelief. I guard against offense and choose to forgive. I declare that my love walk is strong because Christ Jesus lives in me. I live in victory daily because if God be fore me, then nothing can stand against me. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
