As for me, I will certainly not sin against the Lord by ending my prayers for you. And I will continue to teach you what is good and right. But be sure to fear the Lord and faithfully serve Him. Think of all the wonderful things He has done for you.

Prayer must be an essential part of your life. Samuel realized that prayerlessness was a sin. A prayerless Christian is a weak Christian; a prayerless church is an ineffective church; and a prayerless family is a divided family. Not praying for others is a sin against God. Why? Because God answers prayer! It doesn’t matter what you see going on in a person’s life, never count them out by no longer praying for them.
