Each One Reach One
In the beginning of this year, Pastor Cesar Castellanos (our pastor’s pastor), declared that we have, “The Anointing to Multiply”, which basically means we have the ability to grow. But the type of growth God wants and enables us to have is found in Ephesians 3:20. It’s growth that is EXCEEDINGLY, ABUNDANTLY, and ABOVE what we could dare ask or think! God wants this type of growth in every area of our lives but He especially wants this type of growth in our ministry.
Pastor Art said, “God has growth on His mind because He has people in His heart!” We see in John 3:16 that the dream of the Father’s heart is that the WHOLE world would be saved. God would love it if everyone would accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior and that everyone would go to Heaven. He doesn’t want anyone to perish and go to hell. But unfortunately there are people who perish and go to hell everyday… Why?
There are two main reasons why people perish and go to hell. The first reason is they have the opportunity to receive Jesus but they reject Him. They have a chance to follow Jesus and make Him the Lord and Savior of their lives but they choose not to and before they have a chance to make that decision again they end up perishing. The second reason is because good people like you and I stand idly by and never tell others about the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We may argue that it is not our job to do that. We proclaim it’s the Pastor’s job, or the leader’s job, or someone else’s job! But we see in Ephesians 4:16, we ALL have a part to play in the growth of God’s Kingdom. We all have our OWN special work that helps others grow! Let’s all do our part to see the Anointing to Multiply manifest in our lives and in God’s Kingdom! (Rick Abordo)
An Uncommon Life
Last month we were given the challenge to grow for the remaining half of this year. As I sought the Lord for direction, He gave me a number to measure the growth of my ministry. That number was exceedingly, abundantly, and above where we were at in the natural. I wondered if that was really God or if that was just my own thoughts and desires. Through consistent prayer I could not get that number out of my spirit so I knew it was from God. So, I continued to press in with prayer and asked God, “OK if that is where you want us to be, how do you want us to get there?” He reminded me of this, “Every part doing its share causes growth” principle found in Ephesians 4:16 and the “30, 60, 100-Fold Blessing” principle found in Mark 4:20.
The 30, 60, 100-Fold Blessing is more than just 30, 60, or a 100 times what you put in. It is a compounded blessing! The term fold literally means to fold. Imagine you had a large sheet of paper and you folded it in half, you would then have 2 layers or two sheets of paper. If you folded it a second time, you would then have 4 layers of paper. If you folded it a third time you would have 8 layers of paper. Basically with every fold, you double! In the finance world they call that compounded interest. If you open a savings account your account would grow at the end of the month by a certain interest percentage based on your terms. The next month, if you didn’t spend any of your savings, your account would grow again based on the interest percentage on the amount you originally put in plus the interest you earned the previous month.
So God gave me the term EACH1REACH1 based on Ephesian 4:16 (NLT). And then He asked if we all did that based on the 30, 60, 100-Fold principle “Where would we be by the end of this year?” I did the math and basically if we started at 50 and “each one reached one” we would double by the next month and be at 100. If we did the same the following month we would be at 200. If we ALL did our part and continued to do that throughout the end of the year, focused on reaching one person every month, we would be at 3,200 by year’s end! That would be 3,200 men (fathers, sons, husbands, our friends, our family members, our coworkers, etc) that would be following after Jesus! And that is just my team. Imagine if we ALL did our part, the type of growth that God could bring to His Kingdom in Hawaii would be exceedingly, abundantly, and above what we could dare ask or think! I shared that with our team and we are all pressing in to conquer the goal that God set before us for this year!
Today’s Declaration
Lord, thank You for the Anointing to Multiply! I will do my part to see exponential growth in Your Kingdom. I will see my neighborhood, my school, my job, my island, my state, my country, and this world WON for Jesus Christ!
