Expectation is the Breeding Ground for Miracles

Before the G12 Hawaii conference, during our time of prayer and fasting, we were challenged to dream and to visualize for the multitudes, for growth and to believe God for the more!  To accomplish this we pushed deeper in prayer and intercession and engaged in spiritual warfare more aggressively. It was a fight beyond comfort and convenience, especially with all that was occurring in the world, but it helped us realize that we can conquer in the spirit realm when we pray and battle together as a team!  With a team there is conquest!  With this G12 vision in our hearts, we can accomplish the more! 

During this season, one of the phrases I heard was, “expectation is the breeding ground for miracles!” I’ve heard this phrase before, but this time it exploded in my spirit because of the charge to dream and visualize.  Expectation is the key to the miracle-working power of God manifesting in our lives and the lives of others:  

Never doubt God’s mighty power to work in you and accomplish all this. He will achieve infinitely more than your greatest request, your most unbelievable dream, and exceed your wildest imagination! He will outdo them all, for his miraculous power constantly energizes you (Ephesians 3:20 TPT).

When we are energized by the Holy Spirit, we can always expect the power of God in our lives and our ministry.  Expectation in God means we have confidence, courage, and a deep conviction that nothing will stop us from accomplishing God’s dream for the world.

A heart of expectation:

…believes that with God all things are possible (Matthew 19:26).

…is never ashamed of the gospel of Christ (Romans 1:16).

…has compassion for the multitudes (Matthew 9:36).

…is humble before God and man (James 4:10).

…makes room for the more (Isaiah 54:1-5).

…possesses the God kind of faith (Mark 11:22-26).

…reaches the lost with God’s love (John 3:16).

…preaches with an unhindered boldness (Acts 28:31).

…never entertains a spirit of fear (2 Timothy 1:7).

…runs to the altar, grabs the fire, and places it in the censor of their heart to stand between the dead and the living (Numbers 16).

…never stops dreaming to fulfill the Master’s Commission to win souls and make disciples! (Matthew 28:18-20).

Change My Story

In this ever-changing world, one thing that never changes is the gospel of Jesus Christ. The gospel is still the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes.  We must continue to dream and visualize the gospel changing people’s lives one at a time.  We must share the gospel with those without hope and bring them into the house of God where they can begin to dream for their lives.  We can still change our story and help change the story of others when we have a heart of expectation.  

Today’s Declaration

My heart is exploding with an eager expectation and hope that I will not be ashamed.  It’s with full courage and confidence that I dream God’s dream and visualize for the multitudes.  I will win souls, make disciples, and fulfill my ministry for the Kingdom of God.
