FAR FROM SELFISH

So Jonathan said to David, “Whatever you yourself desire, I will do it for you.”

1 Samuel 20:4 (NKJV)

“Whatever you yourself desire, i will do it for you.” In today’s self-serving, me-first generation, this statement is seldom heard. Jesus has called us to serve one another. The Apostle Paul tells both husbands and wives to serve one another in the fear of God. Servanthood is the spirit of Christ. The Bible says that, “Jesus came to serve and give His life as a ransom for many.” Jesus didn’t come to be served, He came to serve others with the Father’s heart. Christ in your heart has given you the willingness and capacity to serve.
