Hey everyone! As I was asking the Lord what He wanted us to learn today, He brought to mind Hebrews 10:35. Let’s take a look…
Hebrews 10:35 AMP, “Do not, therefore, fling away your fearless confidence for it carries a great and glorious compensation of reward.” WOW! Fearless confidence! Faith is all about confidence. Not confidence in self, but confidence in God’s Word. Knowing and believing that what God says He will do, He will do. Faith is having fearless confidence in God and His Word. We can experience fear when we get a doctor’s report. Putting our confidence in what he says. Saying there are no other options or possibilities. That there is nothing they can do. Our confidence is in the bad report and that’s confidence in the wrong thing. But Hebrews 10: 35 teaches us that we should walk in “fearless confidence.” Meaning, our confidence in God and His Word should be the first thing we do when we hear a negative report.
Going to God’s Word first, gives fear no opportunity to take hold of our mind and our hearts. When we turn to God first, we will be able to hold on until change comes! We also see in verse 35 that fearless confidence in God’s Word carries a great and glorious compensation of reward. When we believe God and remain unshakable in our confidence in God’s faithfulness, our faith will go after the God’s promises for our lives. Make no mistake, it’s rewarding to live a life of faith! There is a great and glorious reward waiting for us IF we refuse to quit! Hebrews 10:36, says we need steadfast patience and endurance. Without patience you will give up before your change comes.
SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT
Have you let doubt and fear fling away your fearless confidence? Have you placed your confidence in the negative report? Once that happens, you will lose hope in God and His promise. Without fearless confidence and patience, the promises of God may not come to pass. We must believe God and His Word no matter what the enemy brings our way. Never allow doubt to lead to fear and fear to lead to failure. Have fearless confidence in God and have the patience to keep that fearless confidence until His Word becomes a reality in your life! TODAY’S DECLARATION
“I have fearless confidence in God and His Word. I choose to walk in that fearless confidence today and everyday. I will not allow anything, or anyone to shake my faith and cause me to fling away my fearless confidence. I will walk in faith and patience and refuse to quit. I will stand firm in faith to receive and carry away Your promises. In Jesus’ name. Amen!”
