Daily…Jesus is calling and I believe His ultimate desire is for your “want” for Him to be greater than your “need”. God wants us to draw near to Him. In that secret place, He always finishes what He’s begun in us. It’s through your journey with Him that Jesus takes you to that deep place.
Did you know there’s always more? Did you know He wants to be with you all of the time? Did you know He wants you to take time out of your day to just be with Him? So go ahead and be with Jesus. He’s there with you! It’s in drawing near like a child that you can just go right there to Him, jumping in His arms!
Going back to the start is like being that child again; it’s being right there where nothing stopped you from getting your healing…because all you wanted was your daddy. Nothing can stop you from embracing Jesus because you’re His child…so run to Him! It’s there, in child-like-faith, that you can run to Him and find everything you will ever need.
SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT
Go ahead and be with Jesus. Make Him your favorite because you are His. He created you in His image (Genesis 1:27). I’m reminded of my momma sharing a story about me. She told me, “It was when you were 3 years old. We were in line at a McDonald’s. And you shouted, ‘Momma, please tell that lady that Jesus loves her.'” The Holy Spirit reminds me daily of what He wants me to do and that He never leaves me. I get to go to that place where I become like a child in His arms! (Alexis Sepulveda)
