MEMORY VERSE
“For all the promises of God in Jesus are yes, and in Jesus amen, so be it, to the glory of God through us.” (2 Corinthians 1:20 NKJV)

Hey Kids! Do you know how many of God’s promises are in the Bible? Can somebody count them?! Well, someone said that there are over 3,000 promises in the Bible! Wow, how many of you have ever counted 3,000 things? Or even had 3,000 things of your own? Guess who these promises are for? Yes, you are right! They’re for you and me!!!

What are promises? Well, promises are when someone gives their word or pledge that they will do something, give something, or make sure something will happen.

Today’s memory verse from the Bible says, “For all of the promises of God in Jesus are YES!!!!” This means that whatever God promised you, Jesus made a way for you to have all of God’s promises through what He did for you on the Cross. Then, the memory verse says, “And in Jesus AMEN!” Whenever we say amen, we are saying, “So be it!”, “I believe God’s promises for my life!”, “Yes Lord, I receive it for my life!”, Yes Lord, even if I don’t see it yet, I know it’s going to happen!”

God made a promise to Noah that he will not send a flood any more to the earth where it wiped out everything and everyone on the earth except for those in the ark. He even sealed His promise by placing a rainbow in the sky, so God and all of us would remember His promise. And to remind us that God will never break His promises to us.

Has someone ever made a promise to you and did not keep their promise? Or maybe you made a promise to someone and you also broke your promise to them? So, now you might be wondering will God break His promises to me, too? How can I believe what God promised will come true for me?

Do you want to know the truth about our Amazing God? Here are 4 things that you should always believe and keep close to your heart. The devil is going to lie to you to tell you that these 4 things are not true. But remember God seals all His promises to you so the devil or no one can steal it from you. He sealed it with the Blood of Jesus by what He did for us on the cross. So, when we see the cross it is a sign to us to remember these 4 things:

#1: GOD WILL ALWAYS KEEP HIS PROMISES TO YOU!

#2: GOD IS NOT WILLING TO BREAK HIS PROMISES TO YOU!

#3: GOD CANNOT BREAK HIS PROMISES TO YOU!

#4 GOD IS POWERFUL, ABLE, CAPABLE, RELIABLE, and can be TRUSTED TO MAKE ALL HIS PROMISES COME TRUE FOR YOU!

Remember our memory verse for today? Let’s say it together, FOR ALL THE PROMISES OF GOD IN JESUS ARE YES, AND IN JESUS AMEN, SO BE IT, TO THE GLORY OF GOD THROUGH US.

Whenever we hear or say the promises of God, we can say AMEN, SO BE IT, I BELIEVE IT, I RECEIVE IT, I WILL SPEAK IT, I WILL NOT GIVE UP IN BELIEVING GOD WILL MAKE IT TRUE IN MY LIFE.

Isn’t God such a good and great God to us? Wow, every day let’s get to know God and His promises by reading the Bible and tuning in to our Kidz Life Live services every Thursday at 6:00 PM HST.

This coming Kidz Life Live we are going to give you a Promise Book challenge! We will show you how to make a book of God’s promises just for you. Each week we will give you a promise you can write in your book. Every day your challenge will be to read out loud the promises you write in your book. This will help you to remember God’s promises, think about His promises, see the promises real in your life, and not give up.

Remember, just like God place a rainbow in the clouds as a sign and seal to Noah and his family, when you see a CROSS it is God’s seal or sign that He will never break His promises to you!

PLEDGE OF HONOR
“My God is so faithful to keep all of his promises to me. He never breaks His promises. I receive and believe all of His promises will come true in my life. I give praise to God.”

BIBLE READING
Genesis 9:11-17 (TLB)

“I solemnly promise you and your children and the animals you brought with you—all these birds and cattle and wild animals—that I will never again send another flood to destroy the earth. And I seal this promise with this sign: I have placed my rainbow in the clouds as a sign of my promise until the end of time, to you and to all the earth. When I send clouds over the earth, the rainbow will be seen in the clouds, and I will remember my promise to you and to every being, that never again will the floods come and destroy all life. For I will see the rainbow in the cloud and remember my eternal promise to every living being on the earth.”
