Grace and Favor
Hey Kids!
Did you know that you have been marked with God’s grace and favor? This mark cannot be erased. Yeah, it’s like those permanent markers, once you mark anything with it, there’s no way that it can be erased!
When you asked Jesus to be your Lord and Savior, you became God’s child and He marked you with His grace and favor. So, whatever you do and wherever you go, His grace and favor are with you.
Do you know what this means? It means that you have been chosen by God to save the world for Jesus! Yeah, grace and favor are God’s superpower on you and in you. But first, you must hear God’s Word and do His Word. Like listening and obeying your parents and godly leaders. Whenever you say, “YES” to God in doing what He says to do in the Bible, His grace and favor starts working for you.
God’s Grace gives you His super power to do things that you cannot do in your own strength. And God’s Favor is His blessings overflowing to you, even if it wasn’t meant for you to have it. Wow!!! Like having whipped cream, chocolate, & gummy worms on top of your ice cream!!! And guess what? God enjoys giving you His free gift of Grace & Favor to you because He loves you so much!
Just like Esther, she was crowned and chosen as queen by King X out of all the girls in the country. That’s God’s favor! When Esther knew she had to go before King X to save the lives of others but was afraid that she might lose her life, she went anyway. That was God’s Grace giving her His strength when Esther said, “Yes, I will go to the king”. Oh yeah, and guess what happened? King X welcomed Esther and held out his scepter to her and he said, “What is your request? I will give it to you, even if it is half the kingdom!”. This was because of God’s grace and favor on Esther and because she obeyed God.
You have that same grace and favor on you too! It is not only for you, but it is for you to help others. So, whatever you might think you cannot do, God’s Grace is on you to give you the power to do it. And wherever you go or whatever God wants you to do even if it looks too hard to do and people are telling you that it cannot be done or it won’t happen, don’t let that stop you. God’s favor is all over you! Pray, Obey, and God will make a way!!
Believe God and in the power in His grace and favor on you! And remember every time you say, “Yes” to God to do His Word, His grace and favor come on you even stronger.
This Week’s Pledge of Honor
Grace and favor are on me because I am a child of God and I hear and do God’s Word.
This Week’s Bible Reading
2 Corinthians 12:9 AMPC
But He said to me, My grace (My favor and loving-kindness and mercy) is enough for you [sufficient against any danger and enables you to bear the trouble manfully]; for My strength and power are made perfect (fulfilled and completed) and show themselves most effective in [your] weakness. Therefore, I will all the more gladly glory in my weaknesses and infirmities, that the strength and power of Christ (the Messiah) may rest (yes, may pitch a tent over and dwell) upon me!
2 Corinthians 9:8 (EHV)
God is able to make all grace overflow to you, so that in all things, at all times, having all that you need, you will overflow in every good work.
