God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.

James 4:6 (NKJV)

Grace is God’s unmerited favor. When you depend on Him and not on your own strength and your own ways, you qualify to receive His grace upon your life. Those who choose to live without submitting to God because they are too proud to obey His will, have disqualified themselves from the grace of God. Walk humbly before your God and you will see His unmerited favor at work for you.
