So, my very dear friends, when you see people reducing God to something they can use or control, get out of their company as fast as you can.
2 Corinthians 10;14 (TMB)
It’s impossible and yet we still try to reduce God to someone we can control. We think we know better than He does. Instead of taking His direction, we give Him direction. “Lord,” we say, “You’re not working fast enough”, or “Lord, that’s the person I’m supposed to marry.” Never forget who God is and who you are. We don’t command God; we obey Him. We don’t tell God; we ask Him. Humble yourself and remember to acknowledge Who He is.
