The devil knows that Christ has already defeated him, but he’s gambling that you won’t use what you’ve been given to enforce his defeat. The Word of God is a two-edged sword that needs to be put to use (see Hebrews 4:12)! God’s Word must be placed in our hearts and spoken out of our mouths through our confession of faith. We’re in a battle against spiritual forces. Take the offensive by declaring God’s Word over your life and put the devil on the run!
