Paul’s life was centered on God’s Word. During his voyage to Rome, the ship he was traveling in encountered a life-threatening storm. The sun and stars could not be seen for days, and it appeared that all hope of being saved was lost. Paul decided that God was to be believed above all else. He chose to hold on to God’s Word and trust that God would fulfill His promise despite clear evidence to the contrary. His decision was the difference between victory and defeat. Be of good cheer, your life shall be “just as it was told you” by the Word of God!
