But seek (aim at and strive after) first of all His kingdom and His righteousness (His way of doing and being right), and then all these things taken together will be given you besides.

The “these things” mentioned in this scripture makes reference to the everyday commodities people rely on. A natural tendency is to strive after security through our possessions. This scripture incites a shift in thinking. It calls the Christian to seek God, and let Him embrace us with the provision we need. Keep the right perspectives and you will experience supernatural provisions! Stay focused upon His kingdom and His righteousness, and God will add all these things that you are in need of to you. Kingdom focus produces kingdom provisions!
