He who is greedy for gain troubles his own house, but he who hates bribes will live.

The Bible says that the love of money is the root of all evil. When someone loves money, it begins to possess his thoughts and his will. Greediness for gain often causes you to compromise your standards and convictions. Serving God will no longer fit in your lifestyle because it will put the focus on you and your needs. This spirit must be broken off of your life if you want to have a life and a household of peace.
