LET’S TALK ABOUT IT

Today’s Bible Verse

Write these commandments that I’ve given you today on your hearts. Get them inside of you and then get them inside your children. Talk about them wherever you are, sitting at home or walking in the street; talk about them from the time you get up in the morning to when you fall into bed at night. Tie them on your hands and foreheads as a reminder; inscribe them on the doorposts of your homes and on your city gates.

Deuteronomy 6:6-9 (MSG)

Let’s Talk About It

This scripture stirs my heart! Doesn’t it yours? So, let’s talk about it! Let’s talk about His Word! Let’s talk about His Love! Let’s talk about the Gospel! When? EVERY. DAY.

Are you sitting down? Let’s talk about His Word. Are you walking in the street? Talk about it. Did you wake up this morning? Let’s talk about it! We are ministers of the Gospel so we are to minister, share the Gospel everywhere we go!

We ought to spend time in the Word of God every day. We are to share it with our children! What a blessing it is for our children to see the heart of their mom, their dad, their parental figure spending time in the Word of God! What we do, they will do!

When we talk to our kids about the Word, when we live, breath and speak it, when they are enveloped in the LIVING Word of God, it causes faith to rise up on the inside, it causes a stirring in their precious hearts for Jesus! It’s a living WORD! We’ve got to get it in the inside of us!

Pastor Cesar Castellanos has said that our only weapon of attack is the sword of the Spirit- which is the Word of God! When we get it on the inside, it is what comes out of us when our cup is bumped. His Word comes out instead of your reaction! When we are faced with challenges, His Word rises up within us and we fight the good fight of faith because we’ve been dwelling in His Word and are believing and applying His Word to that circumstance!

Share the Word, everywhere you go. We are called to win the lost and make disciples, but we can’t do either if we don’t have His Word hidden in our heart. I heard Pastor Kuna say, that God just wants our willingness and if we are willing to open our mouths, God will fill it up with the words to minister the Gospel of truth! What a privilege it is to share His Word! To be partners with the Holy Ghost so that the lost would be snatched out of darkness and into His marvelous light! (Pastor Annette Sagarnaga, Word of Life Arizona)

An Uncommon Life

There is nothing more powerful than the Word of God. I once heard Pastor Johanna Castellanos share at a Devoted Women’s Conference that she puts different scriptures throughout her home every month for her children to learn them and I’ve adapted that into my own home.

One evening, I was preparing the message I was going to share for T&O (tithes & offering) as I always do and to my surprise my 11-year-old daughter pulls up a chair next to me, puts down her notebook, pencil and Bible on the table and proceeds to sit down. I turned to her and asked her what she was doing and she said, “I’m going to prepare my T&O message too, mommy.”

Well that certainly blessed my heart and she sat there with me until she completed it! When she shared it with me, I was so moved to hear words of faith, scriptures and encouragement come from the heart of this sweet young girl. You see, the power of the Word of God is vital to our lives, to our families, to our children and to those we have the opportunity and privilege to be around. It’s impossible to keep to yourself when it’s ignited on the inside. It’s a flame that burns bright!

His Word is a blessing for you and I to utilize! There is wonder working power in the Word of God, and we must put it to use! Everyday that you and I awaken, we ought to declare His Word! When we place God and His Word at the forefront, we will surely see His hand of blessing upon our lives! What we love, we will talk about! Thy Word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path!

Today’s Declaration

Today, I declare that I’m a minister of the gospel. The Word of God is hidden in my heart! I speak and profess the Word of God in my home, to my children, and everywhere that I go and to everyone that I encounter! It begins with me! Thank You, Lord, for I know that I am called and equipped to be a soul winner for Your kingdom! I’m going to talk about it!
