LIVING FOR AN ETERNAL REWARD

Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may obtain it. And everyone who competes for the prize is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a perishable crown, but we for an imperishable crown.

1 Corinthians 9:24-25 (NKJV)

An uncommon life settles for nothing less than an uncommon reward. The world lives for money, power, and popularity, but none of these things will last forever. In light of eternity, only those things done for God’s kingdom will last. The best the world has to offer can’t compare to the eternal rewards awaiting those who live for Christ in an uncommon way.
