LOVING MAUI BACK TO LIFE

The devastation caused by the wildfires in Lahaina, Maui, was felt across the world—but it’s not the end of the story. We believe in a God who restores. The families of Maui are defined not by what was lost, but by their unshakable faith and love. Through God’s love—and our love in action—we are seeing hope rise again.
WHAT WE’VE DONE SO FAR

From the moment the fires broke out, Word of Life mobilized quickly to support those affected. Through the generosity of our Word of Life Church family and the leadership of our Word of Life Kahului campus, here’s how we’ve been able to make a difference:
- Essential Supplies Sent
We filled and shipped a container with much-needed essentials—paper products, clothing, food, hygiene items, toys, bedding, cosmetics, Bibles, and more—to distribute to families impacted by the fires.
- Financial Relief Provided
Funds were sent directly to our Kahului Campus Pastor to offer immediate assistance to affected families.
- Team Deployment from Honolulu
A dedicated team from our Honolulu campus traveled to Maui to help organize and distribute the container of supplies to families in need.
- Christmas Love Offerings
In both Christmas 2023 and Christmas 2024, we were able to bless each family in the household of faith with a generous love offering—reminding them that they are not forgotten, and that they are deeply loved.
