MISSION ACCOMPLISHED

A Kidz Life Devotional

This Week’s Memory Verse

Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations [help the people to learn of Me, believe in Me, and obey My Words], baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.

Matthew 28:19 (AMP)

Mission Accomplished

Hey Kids!

Did you know that God has picked you out of thousands, no millions, more like trillions of people to do a special mission for Him?  Yeah, this mission is so important that it means life or death to a person.  This person could be someone very important to you like your best friend, or your mom and dad, or even your grandma and grandpa.

It’s a special mission to go and tell everyone the good news that Jesus gave His life for them and forgave them of their sins.  Your mission is not only to tell them but to show them God’s love for them by helping and showing kindness to them.  But your most important mission is to invite them to ask Jesus to be their Lord and Savior.  You are God’s Special Agent so He will show you what to do!  He will use you to lay your hands on them and pray for them.  He will show you how you can help them.  Wow!  What an honor!  This special mission is more important than anything in the whole wide world!

Are you ready to go on this Special Mission?  Okay, all you need is God’s special password.  The password is YES LORD!  Just say the password and you will unlock God’s superpower to accomplish this Special Mission from the start to the finish!  So, go ahead and say YES to God!  Remember, God is with you and will help you.  You cannot do this Special Mission without Him.  So, stay close to God, pray, listen, and obey God’s Word & the leaders he placed over you.  And never gives up believing in God.  Nothing is impossible with God!

Here’s a prayer that you can lead someone to pray with you:

Jesus, come into my life and heart. I ask You to be my Lord and my Savior. I believe that You died on the Cross for me and rose from the dead.  Forgive me for all my sins, mistakes, and wrong things I have done. Thank You for accepting me as Your child and giving me new life.  In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

This Week’s Pledge of Honor

Telling the good news is my mission – something I must do.  For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes.

This Week’s Bible Reading

Romans 10:14-15 (ERV)

But before people can pray to the Lord for help, they must believe in him. And before they can believe in the Lord, they must hear about him. And for anyone to hear about the Lord, someone must tell them. And before anyone can go and tell them, they must be sent. As the Scriptures say, “How wonderful it is to see someone coming to tell good news!”
