Never Settle for Less!
God has spoken through His Word, through His prophets, and through our pastors and leaders that what’s in store for us is greater than what we’ve experienced so far! Regardless of what has transpired during this season of lockdowns, shut-ins, masking, and social distancing, we know that we are on the brink of breaking out, breaking through, and breaking records—in our personal lives, our families, our churches and ministries, and even our nation!
“Though your beginning was small, yet your latter end would increase abundantly” (Job 8:7 NKJ).
“The glory of this latter temple shall be greater than the former…” Haggai 2:9 (NKJV).
If these promises are true, which they are, why would anyone settle for anything less?! Don’t! In July, God reminded us that we entered into the second half of 2021, and as His word clearly confirms: our best is here, and surely, more is to come!
Therefore, we must not accept, agree to, or give in to something—anything—less than God’s best! We must not settle for LESS:
L – lazy lifestyle habits!
E – endless excuses!
S – self-pity & selfishness!
S – self-willed stubbornness
Instead, we must choose God’s BEST:
B – bold belief in His blessings!
E – enthusiasm & expectation!
S – surrender & submission to His Word!
T – tenacious trust in Him!

Change My Story
What things have we accepted and still need to conquer in our lives that are LESS than God’s BEST? The list might be longer than we care to admit. But it’s time to conquer, confront and identify those things, or else “our latter” will look no different than “the former,” and we’ll launch into 2022 no better off! Let’s say, “No!” to LESS, and “Yes!” to God’s BEST!
Today’s Declaration
Today, I declare that I do not accept, agree to, or give in to something—anything—less than God’s BEST for my personal life, my family, my church, my ministry, or my nation! I receive God’s blessings with great enthusiasm and expectation! I surrender and submit to His Word and tenaciously trust Him completely! I believe, decree, expect, and see that my latter is greater, by His grace and to His glory!
