Our Family
Hey Kids!
Did you know that it was God’s idea to have a family? Yes, family is really important to God. If it is important to God, then we should make sure that it is important to us, right?! Yes, God’s ideas are the best plan for all of us.
Sometimes in our family we have days that we are having so much fun and everyone is happy, and we can say, “God, your idea of family is SOOOO AWESOME!” But then there are other times that our family is sad, mad, or even mean to each other and that’s when we wonder whether God’s idea is really a good idea.
No matter whether it’s a happy family time or a sad family time, God’s ideas are always the BEST for us. God can make a happy family to a MORE AWESOME happy family. And He has the superpower to transform the sad family times to AWESOME family times.
You might be thinking, “How can God ever change my family! My brother is always irritating me, and we don’t like each other. My dad is too tired to play with me and my mom is too busy doing a lot of stuff. And worse of all my mom and my dad are always fighting!”
Well, God chose you to help change your family! Yes, you can help by placing God in the center of all that stuff going on in your family. What does that mean? It means that when something bad happens in your family you choose to put God’s ideas in action. Like praying to God and asking Him for His help. Another one of God’s idea is believing with all your heart that whatever you ask God to do, He will and can do it. What a great idea!!! Do you want to know another God idea? Speak God’s Word about your family while you are waiting for God’s answer. Here’s one more, don’t give up in believing God, no matter how long it takes. Read the Bible everyday and you will find more of God’s ideas.

I am God’s hero because eery day I will ask God to help me to love, respect, forgive and help everyone in my family. Even when things are hard, I know God will make things great.
