Positioned for Miracle Living – Part Four
Miracles are for every believer! God doesn’t play favorites (Acts 10:34). It can be tempting at times to think that
God blesses special Christians, but nothing can be further from the truth. Rahab was a prostitute, yet she received a miraculous deliverance (Heb. 11:31), the Canaanite woman was an outsider, yet Jesus healed her daughter (Matt. 15:28), and the woman with the issue of blood was unclean, yet she was made well (Matt. 9:22).
How can miracles be for every believer? Because all Christians belong to Christ; therefore, all are, “heirs according to the promise,” (Gal. 3:29). Jesus told His disciples that everything His Father owned was given to Him (Jn. 16:15), and when Jesus died on the Cross, He left a will and testament – the Bible, in which He names us as His heirs!
Everything the Father had He passed to the Son, and everything the Son had, when He died on the Cross, He passed to us – and that includes miracles! All believers are inheritors of God’s blessing – not just a select few – because Jesus died for all.
