POSITIONED FOR MIRACLE LIVING – PART SIX

Today’s Bible Verse

James, a bondservant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, To the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad: Greetings. My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.

James 1:1-4 (NKJV)

Positioned for Miracle Living – Part Six

Miracle-faith grows strong by giving glory to God!
This is how Abraham kept his faith strong (Rom. 4:20). Giving glory to God is the key that keeps your faith from weakening and wavering. It keeps you focused
on the promises of God, rather than considering the circumstances. Don’t magnify the problem you’re facing, the trouble you’re in, the disease you’re fighting, or the heartache you’re feeling; rather, magnify the Lord!

So how do we magnify the Lord? David put it this way,
I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth,” (Ps. 34:1). Notice that David says “at all times” not “just during good times.” Weak-faith only praises the Lord when times are good, but miracle-faith will praise God at all times – good and bad. David also says that praise is in the mouth. Praise isn’t based on how you feel, but on what you say. Speak, sing, declare, and confess God’s praises over your circumstances. If you continually glorify God, you’ll feed your faith and starve your doubts. So get your praise on!

Seize the Moment

God is worthy of our praise even during the tough times. Write down a few things that you can praise God for even when you’re going through a negative situation.

Set Your Life

Now, take that list, and spend a few moments to praise God for Who He is, for what He’s done, and for how He’s working on your behalf to change your negative situation into a miracle.
