Start Your Day Strong
To live an uncommon life will require uncommon discipline. What is it about the great men and women of faith in the Bible that set them apart? How did David find the courage to slay Goliath while an entire army was immobilized by fear? What was it about the prophet Elijah that gave him the boldness to confront 450 prophets of Baal and 400 prophets of Asherah who eat at Jezebel’s table? How did Moses obtain the wisdom and faith to deliver the children of Israel from the hand of Pharaoh and the Egyptians? These mighty servants of God accomplished uncommon exploits for the glory of God because of their communion with the Lord.
In the busyness of this world it is easy to get caught up in distractions and meaningless activity. The enemy knows that he does not have the power to hold you back from your destiny and purpose. But he will attempt to hinder you and cause you to be stagnant through deception. The word of God instructs us to be STRONG in the Lord! How? We are empowered to serve the Lord and fulfill our purpose through our union with Him. The source of our wisdom, faith, strength, and courage can be found in the Presence of our Maker Almighty God. We are instructed to draw our strength from Him (That supernatural strength which His boundless might provides). This speaks about His super on our natural. It is the anointing of the Holy Spirit that enables us to carry out our God assignment. (Pastor Wally Matanza, Word of Life Yokohama)
An Uncommon Life
Endeavor to “Start Your Day Strong” by drawing near to our Father in heaven through prayer. Begin your day by praising God for His mercy and all that He has bestowed upon your life and family. We serve a good God Who has never left nor forsaken us specially during our difficult times. He has been our present help in our time of need. Every time you call upon His name He will answer you. Be strong in the Lord by maintaining an unbroken fellowship with Him on a daily basis. Feed on His word as if your life depended on it. Let your faith grow strong to move mountains the Lord has called you to conquer! The Greater One lives and abides on the inside of you and He wants to unlock your potential! But it will require a dependence on Him like never before. Look to Jesus and you will find the answers that you are looking for. Seek the Lord and you will have greater clarity regarding His direction for your life. Start your day strong by keeping Him first.
Today’s Declaration
I choose to start my day strong in the Lord and in the power of His might! Death and life are in the power of the tongue; therefore, I choose to speak life over my circumstances. With God on my side nothing is impossible! I put on the whole armor of God and I guard my heart and mind. I choose to walk in love on a daily basis. Great is the peace of those whose mind are stayed on Him. I keep God as my first love and my first priority. I depend upon His wise counsel and anointing upon my life. Thank You, Lord, that You are always for me and never against me. I start my day strong by spending quality time in God’s presence and studying His word. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
