Today’s Bible Verse

Go then and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, Teaching them to observe everything that I have commanded you, and behold, I am with you all the days (perpetually, uniformly, and on every occasion), to the [very] close and consummation of the age. Amen (so let it be).

Stay or Go

I’m sure we are all familiar with the scripture, for it is the mandate of the Father and the vision of this house. Yet, it can become so familiar merely by memorization and even rhythmic action as we go about doing the work (the “go”) in a sense of complacency and cruise control. We can remain in the same place or position yet have no progression of fruit to show.  There is a busyness, yet the heart and passionate pursuit for this heavenly vision has begun to sizzle out. This is a position we NEVER want to be in. 

Have you found yourself in a position of taking it on in your own strength? This is a spiritual vision! Jesus left us the ultimate helper in the Holy Spirit who dwells and resides inside of us! Have we taken over the driver’s seat and in a sense pushed out the Holy Spirit instead of allowing the Holy Spirit to lead, guide, and direct? 

We must be vigilant and on alert as we do the work of the Father because the adversary is always on the lookout seeking whom he may devour! He’s looking for the complacent, for the weak, for the tired, for the distracted, for the disinterested! 

And behold, I am with you all the days (perpetually, uniformly, and on every occasion), to the [very] close and consummation of the age. 

The Holy Spirit is with us perpetually and on every occasion to the end of time! We don’t need to do this life, this mandate, nor this calling on our own; we have the power of the Holy Spirit within us to depend on! 

Will we fan the flames within us to ignite such a fire and passion for people that could never be extinguished? Or will you stay in a position of settling with the work you’ve done in the past that you think will sustain you? 

Will you STAY or will you GO? 

GO.

GO.

GO!!!

Go and win the lost!

Change My Story

Have you found yourself in a place of complacency or cruise control?  Or perhaps even in a place of disinterest? Now is the time to set a fire within you that no person or thing can extinguish! It’s time to reactivate! Realign yourself and your ways to His ways! Then you will set a city ablaze for the cause of Christ! Is there not a cause?! The time is NOW! 

Today’s Declaration

Here I am Father! I choose to GO in your ways! Holy Spirit lead me and use me in a greater way than I ever thought possible! A life of complacency is not the life I was destined to live. I desire more of you and less of me! I will win my city, my state, my family, my network for the Kingdom.  Now is the time! In Jesus’ Name, AMEN!
