“Through skillful and godly Wisdom is a house (a life, a home, a family) built, and by understanding it is established [on a sound and good foundation].” (Proverbs 24:3 AMPC))

Hey Kids! God wants you to have a happy family!!! We all know that sometimes things happen that can make our family not a happy one. And when these times happen, we seem to think that it is because of my dad, my mom, or my sister or brother.

A great pastor said, “If we change everything changes!” God wants us to look at ourselves and say, “What can I do to make things better?” You might think, “Whaaaat???? It wasn’t my fault,” or “It wasn’t me!” Yes, you might be right! But there is always something we can do to make things better or change. We can all start by changing the way we think and say, “Yes, Lord, show me what I need to do to change. I want to be the change!”

God will start working in your heart and show you ways to bring strength to your family. You can be the one to help and encourage your family. Are you ready? No matter how hard it gets, never give up on your family! See your family happy and see your family laughing together. Here are some things that you can do to bring strength to your family. Genesis 40:15-21 (ICB)

After Jacob died, Joseph’s brothers said, “What if Joseph is still angry with us? We did many wrong things to him. What if he plans to pay us back?” So they sent a message to Joseph. It said, “Your father gave this command before he died. He said to us, ‘You have done wrong. You have sinned and done evil to Joseph. Tell Joseph to forgive you, his brothers.’ So now, Joseph, we beg you to forgive our wrong. We are the servants of the God of your father.” When Joseph received the message, he cried.

And his brothers went to him and bowed low before him. They said, “We are your slaves.” Then Joseph said to them, “Don’t be afraid. Can I do what only God can do? You meant to hurt me. But God turned your evil into good. It was to save the lives of many people. And it is being done. So don’t be afraid. I will take care of you and your children.” So Joseph comforted his brothers and spoke kind words to them.

“I am God’s hero because every day I will ask God to help me to love, respect, forgive and help everyone in my family. Even when things are hard, I know God will make things great. So, I will always pray and thank God for my family.”
