The Ark of Salvation
Hey Kids!
Wasn’t it so awesome that God made sure that Noah’s family and two of every kind of animal, bird, and even the slimy lizards had a safe place to go to be protected from the all the gushing and rushing water flooding the whole earth?! There was no mountain or tree top high enough that they could climb to be saved from the flood! The ONLY WAY to be saved was to get into God’s Ark, the one that Noah built. Yeah, the Ark of Salvation!
We all need to get on the Ark of Salvation to be saved from destruction! I know what you are thinking, “How can I get on the Ark of Salvation?” Do I need a golden ticket to get in? How do I get that golden ticket? Do I need to eat a lot of chocolate like in Willy Wonka to find the golden ticket? How do I get that VIP (Very Important Person) special invitation?
You know what’s sooooo AMAZING?! You already have the VIP special invitation to get on the Ark of Salvation. Yes, you are a VIP, a Very Important Person to Jesus! He personally invited you! He is knocking on the door of your heart to invite you to come on the Ark of Salvation? All you need to do is open the door of your heart and give Him your permission to come in.
When you open the door to Jesus, God’s Word gives you a special password to get on the Ark of Salvation. Only with this password will you be able to get on board. There is no other way!
Do you want to get on board? Say this password out loud:
“Jesus come into my life and be my Lord and my Savior. I ask you to forgive me of all my sins. I believe that you died for me and rose from the dead!”
If you said that passwords, you are saved from destruction! Yay, you made it!!!! You now have the Golden ticket to get into heaven! Make sure you don’t lose that ticket or let the devil steal it from you! He wants to steal the Golden ticket from you by tempting you to let sin in your life like disobeying your parents and leaders, lying, cheating, stealing, watching bad videos. The devil wants to separate you from God by sin. Remember stay close to God and when you mess up, go to God and ask Him to forgive you with an honest heart. STAY CLOSE TO GOD by praying, reading the Bible, going to church and Life Group so that you will be able HOLD ON TIGHT TO YOUR GOLDEN TICKET!
Tell all your family, your friends, your teachers, and all those you know to get on board the Ark of Salvation! Don’t forget to give them the password to say out loud! There is no other way to get on board!
