THE FINAL WORD

“I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End,” says the Lord, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.”

Revelation 1:8 (NKJV)

Jesus is our beginning and our ending. In this verse, Jesus wasn’t sharing just a general piece of information about Himself. He was giving us something to apply everyday. No matter what we face, we need to start with Him. John 1:1 says, “Jesus is the Word”, so starting with Jesus means starting with the Word. Don’t do anything until you find out what God’s Word, the Bible, has to say about your situation. Then stay on the Word. Colossians 1:23 says, “Be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which you have heard.” Continue in faith. The only way the devil can defeat you is to pressure you into throwing away the Word. Remember to speak to your circumstance, “It is written!”
