God’s Word is FOREVER settled in Heaven (Psalm 119:89). It will never change. What it said yesterday remains true, and what it says today, it will continue to say 100 years from now (Hebrews 13:8-9). We are not going to cause God to change His mind concerning His Word for the sake of agreeing with us. I am convinced that the ONLY thing hindering the POWER and AUTHORITY that God wants today’s believer to have is the fight we face to RENEW our minds, and AGREE with Him; to believe His TRUTH (John 14:6) and not be deceived by a LIE (John 8:44).

What is TRUTH? The truth is whatever God’s Word says about the situations of life (John 17:7). We will find NO TRUTH in adversity, NO TRUTH in circumstances, and NO TRUTH even in what might SEEM to be fact. Jesus said that He is “the way, the truth, and the life.” He is the embodiment and the dispenser of the ONLY truth that ever mattered. Jesus is the answer. And when the answer and solution to life’s challenges are the same, the questions and problems we face simply DO NOT matter.

In Romans 8:11, Paul shares with us a valuable truth, “But if the Spirit of Him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, He that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by His Spirit that dwelleth in you.” This verse reveals the “truth” of what is in every believer, something that the enemy of our faith does not want us to get ahold of; and that is that the same Spirit that was in Christ is NOW in you, and that very same Spirit wants to live in you, the same way it lived in Jesus, with POWER and with AUTHORITY!

The Spirit has overcome the world (1 John 5:4) and NOW allows us to walk in dominion over Satan on the earth (Luke 10:19). Jesus said that we should pray that God’s will be done on earth, as it is in Heaven (Matt 6:10). If Jesus is asking us to pray, then this must mean that God’s will on earth is not automatic. The only way for God’s will to be accomplished in the earth is for US, the believer, to awaken and recognize the truth of our AUTHORITY in Christ and establish it! We must establish it NOW for the sake of our households, our marriages, our families, and for our communities.

SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT
I read somewhere that science determined that the smallest known particle is a particle of light, and that in the universe, light is forever expanding in all directions. In Genesis 1:3, God said, “let there be light,” and so it was, and still is, expanding in time. God only told light to “be” once. You see God does not have to get up every morning and tell the earth, moon, etc., to go around the sun over and over again. He spoke it once and it is still happening. Isaiah‬ ‭55:11‬ (NKJV), “So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.”

In Ephesians 3:20, God said that there is dynamic-working power in YOU. The truth is that God works through the POWER that works through us, not just the power that “dwells” in us. The power of the Holy Spirit wants to work in us, but the power that dwells in us is not always the power that works through us, unless by faith, it is released! (Marques Farmer)
