THIS IS STILL MY YEAR

“When there is no clear prophetic vision, people quickly wander astray.”

Proverbs 29:18 (TPT)

For many people 2020 has been an extremely challenging year. It has been met with difficulty on many different levels. Yet, there was a prophetic word released at the beginning of this year that 2020 would be a year of vision, double, distinction, and being free and fearless.

While many started off strong and inspired, some have come to this time of the year exhausted, worn down, and settling into the status quo. Some may even have wandered astray.

It is possible that the prophetic vision is no longer substance in their hearts. I once heard this statement: “The man who has no vision for the future, ultimately returns to His past.”

If we are struggling with our past or falling into temptation, it is because we have let go of the vision God has for us. It is nothing more than a memory.

There is one thing that will make 2020 the best year of our lives, yet. It is called God’s prophetic vision. Jeremiah 29:11 says, “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.”

God’s vision is not hype or motivation. It is His gift to us.

SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT
The only limitations you and I have are the ones we accept. If we fight for our limitations, we get to keep them. Let’s let them go and embrace God’s vision again.

Write the vision and make it plain. Get out your pen and pad. Bring out your vision board. Put God’s Word in your eyes and ears, and let His Word be an image of what He says you can do and have because of who you are in Christ Jesus. (Jonathan Vasquez)
