UNCOMMON PROVISION

Today’s Bible Verse

And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

Philippians 4:19 (NKJV)

Uncommon Provision

When we first moved to Hawaii from New Mexico, we experienced “culture shock.”  From the humidity, to taking your shoes off in the house, to no air conditioning, to the price of everything, even the cost of owning a home.  For years we believed a lie that it was “too expensive to own a home in Hawaii.”

One day I was meditating on this scripture.  The Lord had me break it down word for word and I realized some things.  He is my God, my Provider, and He shall supply everything that we will ever need.  That’s not a maybe.  That’s a promise!  He also showed me that He doesn’t just meet some of our need, but ALL of it, inclusive of owning a home.  What really set me free from those arguments was this.  He told me, “Stop boxing Me in.  I want to provide for you and your family according to My riches and glory, not according to your riches.  Yours are limited but Mine are not, so, stop limiting Me.”  Praise God! Shortly after that we bought a home.

Let’s continue to allow the Word of God to become more real to us than the things that are happening around us.  It is the Truth that we know that makes us free.  He is the Uncommon Provider!  His provision encompasses our whole being; spirit, soul and body, financially, domestically, socially and in our ministry (service).

As Pastor Kuna always says, “Take the limits off of God!” (Pastor Veronica Acevedo)

An Uncommon Life

What is your need?  Are we limiting Him in our lives?  Are there lies and arguments that need to be uprooted from our minds and hearts?  God is the same, yesterday, today, and forever.  He never changes.  He provides for us through His infinite resources because He is the Infinite Source.  As we seek Him first and His way of doing and being right, all those needs will be provided.

Let’s be encouraged! The same God that provided the $3 a gallon gas is the same God that will provide the $6 a gallon gas.  The same God that supplied the mortgage or rent last year is the same God that will supply it this year.  The same God that provided for us yesterday, is the same God that will supply us today, and the same God that will supply us in the future.

Today’s Declaration

Today, I declare, MY God shall supply and provide all MY need according to His riches and glory by Christ Jesus, the Anointed One and His Anointing.  I lack no beneficial thing because You are my Divine Supplier.  Uncommon provision comes my way today.
