Today’s Bible Verse
Jesus replied, “Listen to the truth. If you do not doubt God’s power and speak out of faith’s fullness, you can also speak to a tree and it will wither away. Even more than that, you could say to this mountain, ‘Be lifted up and be thrown into the sea’ and it will be done. Everything you pray for with the fullness of faith you will receive!”
Matthew 21:21-22 (TPT)
Unwavering Faith
What are you believing for? Sometimes when the things that we are believing for do not happen within a time that we expect them to happen, we start to doubt God. If the obstacles and circumstances that take place in our lives do not get better, we tend to get discouraged and disappointed. We cannot allow the circumstances of life to weigh us down and cause us to miss out on our breakthrough. We have to lay hold of the Word of God and meditate on His promises. Know that faith comes from trusting in God and His will.
What does it take to live a life of faith?
1. Do not doubt God’s power. No matter what adversities come, trust and obey the Word. The Word is alive and full of Power.
2. Speak out of faith’s fullness. Out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks (Matthew 12:34). As you deposit His promises in your heart, you begin to develop unwavering faith and remove all doubts.
3. Pray with the fullness of faith, and you will move mountains! (Pastor Patti Matanza, Word of Life Yokohama)
Change My Story
Here is a story that I believe you will enjoy. It illustrates the importance of faith and patience to obtain God’s promises.
An elephant and a dog became pregnant at the same time. Three months down the line, the dog gave birth to six puppies. Six months later the dog was pregnant again, and nine months on, it gave birth to another dozen puppies. The pattern continued. On the eighteenth month, the dog approached the elephant questioning, “Are you sure that you are pregnant? We became pregnant on the same date; I have given birth three times to a dozen puppies, and they are now grown to become big dogs, yet you are still pregnant. What’s going on?” The elephant replied, “There is something I want you to understand. What I am carrying is not a puppy, but an elephant. I only give birth to one in two years. When my baby hits the ground, the earth shakes!”
Pastor Art has shared with us that “delay is not denial.” Do not lose hope when what you are believing for doesn’t take place in your desired time frame. Choosing to develop Unwavering faith is staying the course no matter what the natural circumstances look like. Because when your breakthrough happens, it will be an earth-shaking miracle! Keep your eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith (Hebrews 12:2).
Today’s Declaration
I choose to stay encouraged no matter what because God’s Word doesn’t return to Him void. I will not doubt God’s promises. I will speak out of faith’s fullness, and everything I pray for with the fullness of faith shall come to pass.
