VICTORY IS OURS

“For the Lord your God is going with you! He will fight for you against your enemies, and he will give you victory.”

Deuteronomy 20:4 (NLT)

God wants us to be victorious in our lives. One victory that is ours is when we receive Jesus as our Lord and Savior. The power of the resurrection proves that we have victory over sin and death. The victory is secured because of what Jesus did for us.

The enemy wants to distract us from believing that we can be victorious in all areas of our lives. The enemy cannot and will not defeat us. God’s Word says, “Yet even in the midst of all these things, we triumph over them all, for God has made us to be more than conquerors, and his demonstrated love is our glorious victory over everything” (Romans 8:37 TPT).

The Bible goes on to say, “There is no power above us or beneath us-no power that could ever be found in the universe that can distance us from God’s passionate love, which is lavished upon us through our Lord Jesus, the anointed One!” (Romans 8:39 TPT).

SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT
Victory is a promise of God, but we should never forget that it requires us to battle. So, we should know as believers that we are in a spiritual warfare. Our battle begins in the secret place. The battle will not be easy because the enemy will try to stop us. In this place, we are called to rise up, fight and pray. We need to intercede for our lives, family and friends. Today, let’s get into our secret place because victory is ours to receive. “But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ” (1 Corinthians 15:57). (Stan Abihai)
