WHEN FACING THE IMPOSSIBLE

“For with God nothing is ever impossible and no word from God shall be without power or impossible of fulfillment.”

Luke 1:37 (AMPC)

At times we can think that what we are facing is impossible to conquer. We are given a negative report whether it’s regarding our health, our finances, our family, our friends, or our ministry. We are reminded in Luke 1:37, that nothing we face, encounter, hear, or receive from anyone or anything is ever impossible of being conquered when we get the word to it.

In this passage Mary is given news that she will be a carrier of the promise to the people. We are given the same kinds of promises. We carry what the world needs inside of us and sometimes it’s seems difficult or impossible to fulfill what God has called us to do. We can battle in our heart and in our mind but God always sends us a word of hope, faith and encouragement. He will do it in many ways. Through your devotions, at a church service, in Life Group, in class, in your prayer and praise and worship. There are many avenues God will use to help you and assist you to focus on Him and not fear. Mary’s response is found in verse 38, ”…let it be unto me according to your word.” Let this be our response.

SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT
At the end of last year, I noticed something was trying to hinder me. It wasn’t obvious but I could sense it. When I sense these things, I remember Pastor Kuna sharing with me that whenever I experience this, to seek the Holy Spirit and He will reveal it to me. As I pressed in, the Lord revealed it to me in a message from Pastor Art at the end of 2019 and continued with a series of messages titled, “Free & Fearless.” I then realized it was a spirit of fear. I pressed in for my healing and God healed my heart, my mind and my emotions. I am confident that God will do the same for you as you stay sensitive to the Holy Spirit.

Don’t stop pressing, believing, standing and loving in faith and watch what God will do on your behalf as He did for Mary. You are a carrier of the promise of the hope of the gospel to the world. Believe it and it shall come to pass. (Pastor Donalee Pang)
